Everything we know about Taylor Swift's comeback

It has been three long years since Taylor Swift gifted the world with her magnificent 1989 album and we've never been quite the same since.
The biggest selling album of her career so far gave us hits like Blank Space, Shake It Off and Bad Blood and she's gone and done it again, dropping a new single and sending the internet ('world' would be more accurate, right?) into a FRENZY.
Could this be the single that potentially snatches the wigs of every other pop female on the planet? Maybe. Here's everything we know about Taylor Swift's comeback.

Will the feuding pair appear on the same stage?
Well, we learned a lot from absolutely nothing

Taylor fans went into overdrive on Friday 16 August when she posted nothing on social media. In fact, she did the very opposite of posting, she cleared everything from every account. She removed years of photos with her A-list pals on Instagram and every update from Twitter and Facebook.
A lot of people believed this was the start of a new era for T.Swift and, it seems, they were right.

What does that snake have to do with anything?
Taylor's social media went dark for two days before something slithered onto her timeline. She posted a ten second video of a snake doing nothing much at all. It was liked 170,000 times and shared 70,000 times in less than 24 hours.
But the snake has more meaning than most animals for Taylor. Her Instagram accounts were flooded with the snake emoji - first when Calvin Harris criticised Taylor's team over writing credits on his hit, This Is What You Came For.
It slithered back onto her social media again when Kim Kardashian shared footage on Snapchat of Taylor seemingly approving Kanye West's controversial lyrics about her in his track, Famous.
All the snake emoji’s were later removed when Taylor became the first star with the ability to remove comments from Instagram. But the social media experience not only made an impact on Taylor, she's now claiming it back as her own.
But viewers of RuPaul's Drag Race know who the real queen of snakes is.

So is new music coming and, if so, WHEN?!
Don't freak out guys but the moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived. That's right: SWIFTY HAS DROPPED A NEW SINGLE.
Let's take a moment to let it all sink in, shall we?
Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do
Right, what else do we know? We know that the new album is called Reputation and will be out on November 10. We also know that Swifty has undergone somewhat of an image overhaul, swapping her pendant necklaces for a barbed wire-esque choker and her Peter Pan collars for distressed jumpers, complete with chains. In other words: change is coming.
And what about a VMAs performance?

Well, according to Katy Perry, definitely not.
I haven’t heard anything of itKaty Perry
Katy, who is hosting this year's MTV Video Music Awards has flat-out denied that Taylor will perform at the awards show. There have been rumours that the stars will put their long-running feud to rest when they appear together on the same stage - which would be a huge moment for fans of Katy, Taylor and major historical events.
"Listen, I’d love for the beef to end. I’d love to take it off the BBQ," Katy told US radio station SiriusXM.
"I’m down, but I haven’t heard anything of it."
But is she just playing the role of 'secretive awards show host' too well?
