Today, cloud and mist for a time in the south and east but sunny spells will develop in the afternoon. Mostly sunny further west, but cloudier in the far south-west with the odd shower.
Tonight
This evening and tonight, Northern Ireland will turn breezy with rain moving in, reaching western Scotland later. Elsewhere, dry with variable cloud and clear spells, but also some mist and fog.
Friday
Tomorrow will see cloud and rain continue in the west, spreading into Wales and western England during the day. Further east, staying largely dry with sunny spells and patchy cloud.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
On Saturday, cloud and patchy rain will spread east before easing later, with sunny spells developing from the west. Sunday will see areas of cloud and some showers in the north and west, but drier and sunnier towards the south and east. Warm in the south-east. Monday will see any early cloud and showers clearing, leaving sunshine for all in the afternoon. Warmer.
