6 times celebrity feuds turned into firm friendships

Another day, another unlikely feud dominating our airwaves and feeds. This time it's the turn of Justin Bieber and *can we get a drum roll, please?* Marilyn Manson! We know, we didn't see it coming either.
Here's the origin story: Apparently the showbiz world's most unlikeliest beef started when Bieber started re-purposing Marilyn Manson merch tees. According to team JB, the Purpose singer got Manson's sign off but, according to Manson, that wasn't totally the case...

Marilyn Manson has some serious beef with Bieber
Here's everything you need to know...
Fast forward to a chance meeting between to two, with Bieber clad in - you guessed it! - a Bieber x Manson t-shirt:
“He said to me, ‘I made you relevant again.’ Bad mistake to say to me,” Manson recalled to Consequence of Sound. “The next day I told him I’d be at his soundcheck at Staples Center to do ‘Beautiful People.’ He believed that I’d show up, because he was that stupid.”
That's gotta hurt, right? There's no response from Justin's camp just yet but we hope there's room for reconciliation between these two music juggernauts. And, as far as celebrity squabbles go, it wouldn't be the first time that famous beef has been put to bed.
From Kim K and Paris to Jay-Z and Nas, here are the feuds that, eventually, turned into friendships. Take note, guys...
Taylor Swift & Kelly Osbourne
Current status: baking cookies together at Swift's pad
Taylor Swift and Kelly Osbourne's relationship is... confusing. Way back when, in 2K11, Osbourne made some eyebrow-raising comments about Tay-Tay on her E! show, Fashion Police: "My biggest pet peeve about Taylor is that she walks on stage in front of 25,000 people and still goes, 'Me? You’re here for me?' Of course, you’re Taylor Swift, get over it!" Eek.
Fast forward two years and the duo are baking up a storm at Tay's house. How do we know this, exactly? Instagram, duh. Sharing photos aplenty from their successful baking sesh, Kelly even went so far as to publicly compliment Taylor's cooking tekkers. And then, in 2016, Kelly joined Tay and then-boyfriend Calvin Harris on their table at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
We're guessing all is forgiven and forgotten.
Cheryl & Sarah Harding

Have Cheryl and Sarah Harding finally patched things up?!
The former Girls Aloud members are officially on tweeting terms.
Current status: tweeting each other
Quite how this feud started, no one really knows. All we do know is that, post-Girls Aloud, somewhat of a divide formed between the once-tight bandmates, with Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberley remaining firm friends while Sarah and Nadine seemed somewhat missing from the equation.
After Cheryl unfollowed Sarah on Twitter earlier this year, OK! quizzed Sarah on Chezza's social media move: "Why don't you ask Cheryl? I don't know. It's got nothing to do with me. I've got Cheryl's number – we don't have to prove we're friends online. For me, it's not a publicity contest. I don't follow other celebrities to try and befriend them and gain public support. I’m a private person and if I want to speak to any of the girls, then I'll call them."
But now, it seems, the gals might be on good terms - HURRAH! - after Sarah responded sweetly to a general question Chez threw out to the Twittersphere: 'Yoo hoo. Can you tweet me the songs from my albums that you think should've been singles please?'
Sarah's response? 'Hey stranger!...U know FFTL will always be the one #TrueToTheGame'
Agreed. Fight For This Love IS a tune.
Demi Lovato & Miley Cyrus

Current status: leaving comments on each other's Instagram posts
Shade, shade, shade! So much shade has been thrown throughout the feud between Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus. Here's what went down...
Firm friends in their baby-faced Disney days, the relationship took a turn for the worst when Miley made fun of Demi and Selena Gomez (another of Demi's former BFFs) in a YouTube video back in 2008 (anyone else suddenly feel really, really old?). The internet did not find Miley's teasing all that funny and she later apologised, but it seems as though the damage was already done.
Speaking about Miley in a 2012 interview with 17 Magazine, Demi seemed to have a pretty good handle on her friendship with Cyrus ("When we fight it's brutal and we're like, 'We're never going to be friends again!' Then two days later, were like, 'I love you and I miss you!'") but, some shady tweeting and social media unfollowing later, it looked as though the duo were sworn frenemies all over again.
We have no idea what's gone on behind closed doors but it seems that Cyrus and Lovato have finally found friendship once more, with Lovato leaving properly cute comments on Miley's Instagram.
Liam Payne & Louis Tomlinson
Current status: the best of pals
This is going to come as a shocker so prepare yourselves: Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson once used to be at each other's throats. No, we're not lying...
Dishing on their friendship in the One Direction movie, This Is Us, Liam got pretty candid about his feelings towards Louis in the early days of 1D: "The funniest thing now is that me and Louis did not get on at all. We were two completely different characters. He was so loud and bubbly, and there was one point where I literally wanted to whack him."
Ouch. Over to you, Louis: "We used to be at each other's throats while we were on the X Factor. He took it so, so seriously. But whenever I wanted to do anything slightly mischievous he was always the daddy. That is why he got the nickname Daddy Directioner."
Cute, guys. Real cute.

Paris Hilton & Kim Kardashian
Current status: post photos of each other in #throwbackthursday situations
Ah, Kim K and Paris! Where do we even begin with this feud for the ages?
Before she took over our lives and feeds with her Kardashian empire, Kim K was a wardrobe stylist (she was dubbed 'Queen of the Closet Scene') whose clients included Cindy Crawford and, you guessed it, BFF Paris Hilton.
After ditching Nicole Richie, Paris and Kim were spotted out and about together on the regs, with Kim eventually scoring a major gig in the form of a reality TV series - a little known thing called Keeping Up With The Kardashian's - while The Simple Life was cancelled.
Unsurprisingly, Kim's speedy ascent to fame didn't bode too well with Paris and the two former pals threw shade back and forth for the best part of a decade. Nowadays, though, you'll find them wishing each other a happy birthday and sharing throwback photos from their days spent partying up a storm in Ibiza.
Jay-Z & Nas

Current status: they've called a truce... we think
Starting way back in 1996, the beef between Jay-Z and Nas is juicy. Dropping a Jay reference on his second album, 'It Was Written', Nas fired lyrical jabs at Jay and his wheels at the time (he was driving a Lexus, complete with inbuilt TV screens) with the line 'Lex with TV sets the minimum'.
Speaking to Complex about the line, Nas confirmed that he was, indeed, referring to Jay and his wheels: "I saw Jay Z driving a Lexus with the TVs in them. I got rid of my Lexus at that point and I was looking for the next best thing. It wasn’t a shot at Jay but it was just saying that’s the minimum you gotta have. It’s not a shot at him but he inspired that line. It wasn’t necessarily a shot at him but because the song was a shot at everybody, he fell into that. But he definitely inspired that line."
Nine years worth of lyrical shade later and the duo surprised everyone when they took to the stage together for Jay-Z's comeback concert, titled 'I Declare War', and performed 'Dead Presidents' and 'The World Is Yours'. If these guys can let bygones be bygones, there's hope for everyone...
