Radio 1 Rave Lounge Swansea - with Annie Mac, Danny Howard & Special Guests Disciples, High Contrast and Redlight!

Kick starting BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend in Swansea, Radio 1’s Rave Lounge heads to Fiction Nightclub on Friday 25th May!
Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Danny Howard will be live from 7pm and will be joined by very special guests Disciples, MistaJam, High Contrast and Redlight !
There are a limited amount of tickets available for this event and they will are on sale via the link below now.
Tickets are priced at £9 per person + booking fee of £1 and are limited to a maximum of 2 tickets per transaction.
This event is for those aged strictly 18+. Photo ID will be required.

Friday 25th May
Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard takes to the decks at Fiction in Swansea for an intimate DJ masterclass for a very lucky few! Come along and learn the basics of beat matching, programming a set and tips on how to make it in the scene! Danny will also be joined by fellow Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac for a Q&A session so come prepared with all your burning questions!

BBC Music Introducing - UK-wide tour
As part of the Fringe, BBC Music Introducing is taking four artists on tour.

The tour will visit several grassroots venues across the UK and each night will feature support from a new local artist working in conjunction with local BBC Music Introducing shows.
Monday 21st – Thursday 24th May
Radio 1’s Academy

BBC Radio 1 DJs host free sessions to kick-start and inspire the creative careers of young people at Swansea Grand Theatre.
Stars from the world of music and entertainment will deliver exclusive hands on workshops, live music performances and industry insight, providing 16-24 year olds with the tools, contacts and information they need to take the next step in their creative careers.
Tuesday 22nd May
Radio 1 in Swansea with Huw Stephens & special guests Black Peaks, Casey and Chroma

Radio 1's Huw Stephens will host a night of live music at Swansea Grand Theatre featuring brilliant British rock bands Black Peaks, Casey and Chroma who will be recorded live for broadcast on BBC Radio 1.

Radio 4 Four Thought

BBC Radio 4 'Four Thought' is a series of thought-provoking talks in which speakers air their thinking on the trends, ideas, interests and passions that affect culture and society. Each talk takes on a personal dimension, inspired or influenced by an experience or story, which illustrates their own thinking about a particular subject.
Radio 4 will be in Swansea to record a very special episode of 'Four Thought' featuring local guest speakers live at The Volcano Theatre.
