From that Blue Ivy clip to the BRIT Awards: Camila Cabello dishes to Grimmy on the Breakfast Show

Despite getting absolutely no sleep (more on that later), Camila Cabello was full of beans when she joined Grimmy for an early morning chinwag on the Breakfast Show.

Together Grimmy and Camila tackled topics ranging from post-gig levitations to celebrity conspiracy theories; truly something for everyone. You can catch up on all the chat by clicking the link above but, in the meantime, why not dive headfirst into the highlights...

First things first: Camila's really, really, REALLY tired

We may think we're tired after we get an hours less sleep than the recommended amount (we're all about that eight hours life) but that's nothing compared to Camila and her jam-packed scheduled. Fresh from Dancing (and singing) On Ice, the Havana hitmaker headed straight to her hotel and proceeded to stay up all night.

"I’m about to be delirious in the next five minutes. I didn’t get any sleep. Have you ever pulled an all-nighter? I still feel okay right now but in about four hours I’m going to feel like death. Walking death.”

Why so tired, you ask? Oh, because she's planning an epic tour...

Camila's first headline tour, dubbed the Never Be The Same tour, sold out in a day and now she's busy planning it. From the setlist to the stage and beyond, turns out that dreaming up a world tour isn't a stress-free affair.

After I leave a concert I want to cry and I want my spirit to levitate into the air, if it’s not too much to ask
Camila Cabello

"That's why I didn't get any sleep! I went back to the hotel and I had to figure out the order for my tour setlist. The thing is with me, when I dream up my show for tour, I have to close my eyes and imagine the moment when the opener is done and people are waiting, and that’s the moment that I have to imagine it from.

"I have to imagine everything from the visuals to the music to what I’m saying in any of the interludes. I have to literally imagine the entire thing, so I stayed up all night figuring it out... Whenever I go to a show now I pay attention to everything. I pay attention to what moments an artist loses the crowd, what moments the crowd is most engaged in, how I feel, what the flow is."

"After I leave a concert I want to cry and I want my spirit to levitate into the air, if it’s not too much to ask."

But she's still ready and raring for the BRIT Awards

Once Camila and Grimmy had finished bonding over their childhood affinity for award shows (same guys, SAME!), Camila dished about her excitement for the BRIT Awards.

I feel like the BRITs are different to any other awards show I've ever been to
Camila Cabello

"I’m really excited and I feel like the BRITs are different to any other awards show I've ever been to. It’s a different setting - there’s a table and drinkety drinks! - and I feel like sometimes other awards show can be a bit like you go and you do your thing and everyone's kind of stressed and highly strung and you say 'hey!' to somebody and then everybody leaves...

"And everyone is in agreeance that it’s a lot. It can be overwhelming. But I think in a setting like [the BRITs] where there’s tables and everyone's together and you’re having a good time, I feel like it’s so much fun… I’m really excited for the performances, too."

Talking about award shows, she's just as confused about that Blue Ivy clip as the rest of us...

Camila Cabello on THAT Blue Ivy Grammys moment

Camila Cabello spoke to Grimmy about the moment that Blue Ivy shushed Beyonce and Jay Z.

The clip of Blue Ivy silently beckoning her parents - who are, of course, none other than Beyoncé and JAY-Z - to stop clapping during the 2018 Grammys has already joined the likes of Kanye and Tay at the VMAs in the award show hall of fame. Who happened to be onstage while Blue Ivy made history? Camila Cabello, of course, and she wants answers.

"What do you think that means?! I had a moment of insecurity where I was like ‘what does that mean?!’. Do you think she didn’t like my speech? I literally stopped and I was like 'you know what, I’m not going to think about that!'. I think she’d like me! Kids like me. Thank god I didn’t look down at the crowd while that was happening."

Put us all out of our misery, Blue: WHAT WAS GOING ON INSIDE YOUR HEAD?!

And she finally put an end to those Dua Lipa rumours

Are Camila Cabello and Dua Lipa the same person?

Grimmy tackles fresh rumours by asking Camila himself.

Slowing songs down and deciphering whether the artist sounds like someone else is a craze that's taken the internet by storm. It started after a slowed-down track of Adele revealed a voice that sounded a lot like Sam Smith (we've still never seen them in the same room...) and now there's similar talk surrounding Camila and Dua.

Are they the same person? Do they, at the very least, soundalike? Camila finally put an end to the rumours: "Maybe a little bit! I can see it. Have you ever seen us all in a picture together? Shout out to Dua, who’s the most nominated female at the BRITs ever!"

That she is! Thanks for swinging by, Camila!
