Seven single pop stars you'll never find on dating apps (and one you will)

Some very important news about Justin Bieber's relationship status
But don't expect to see him on a dating app looking for new love.
If you’re single and looking to date someone new, you just download a dating app and get on with it, right? Well, it’s not for everyone.
Justin Bieber has revealed he’s 100% single but that he has zero interest in finding new love online. And he’s not alone…
Nathan Sykes

Nathan Sykes has tried looking for love on apps, but no one believed it was really him. Which is awkward to say the least.
"I can’t be arsed with dating apps I would be terrible," he tells Yahoo!.
"When I was writing the album one of the producers tried to get me on Tinder, he was like ‘mate it will be hilarious.’
"So I signed up and the girls were like ‘you’re not Nathan Sykes,’ I was like ‘brilliant.’"
Little Mix

The more famous Little Mix get, the more they struggle to find dates - and being one of the world's top girl groups means online dating is a definite no-no - unless it's on a special dating app for famous people.
"You see, it's really hard when you're famous," Jade tells Radio 1.
"Everyone knows who you are.
"There is an industry app which Perrie's been on before that she said was quite good, but Tinder... not so much."
James Arthur

James Arthur has had his personal life splashed across the tabloids in the past and now he's cautious of how he dates.
"I can’t go on Tinder, I’ll get in trouble," he tells The Daily Star.
"I’m afraid that women could fool me on there – some of them would be press or something. Or that there’d be women who want to kill me!"
Olly Alexander

If you've been chatting to Olly from Years & Years on a dating app, we're sorry to say that you've probably just been catfished. Someone pretended to be Olly online, but tripped themselves up by using a photo the singer really doesn't like.
Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has been linked to a number of girls since his split from Selena Gomez but right now he's single and tells Ellen he has no interest in either dating - online or off.
“I am not dating anybody. Single. I’m not really looking either.
Olly Murs

Olly Murs split from girlfriend Francesca Thomas in September 2015. A year later, he's still single and has no plans to look for a new relationship online - even if he does think online dating has made meeting people easier.
"I’m not on Tinder," he told The Metro.
"When it came out and there was a craze I remember thinking this Tinder thing is kicking off. But no, I’m not on it.
"Social media has helped because you can meet people."
Selena Gomez

Not now, not ever. No says Selena Gomez, Tinder is not the place she wants to find her next boyfriend.
"I would never go on Tinder," Selena tells Flare magazine.
"I think it would scare me. I go on dates. It’s not that difficult — I’m a nice young lady — but that’s not my focus. I’m really stoked about being with myself right now."
But if you did want to run into a pop star on Tinder, then you might bump into one of The Vamps online...
James McVey, The Vamps

One person you might find on Tinder is James from The Vamps, who says he spends his time swiping right in the hope of finding a new GF.
"That's why I'm on Tinder, man," he tells Pressparty, when asked whether he has a girlfriend. "Everyone thinks it's all fun, but it's just covering up deeper insecurities."
Oh The Vamps. If there's one band that don't have anything to be insecure about, it's you.
