A BASE IS ONLY THERE TO BE BUILT UPON.

Chris Evans | 14:44 UK time, Thursday, 4 December 2008

Meetings madness this week, trying to sort out...

... next year.

Far easier to get the diary organised now and then we have a path to wander from.

I can do one thing plus the show next year and that extra one thing will be decided this week.

Of course everyone wants to know what you've been up to when they talk to you and here's the thing, when I started to recount the last few weeks of activity, I surprised myself at what we'd managed to pack in.

There was the DRIVETIME DINE AND DISCO auction...there was the even madder, DRIVETIME MAGNIFICENT SEVEN FERRARI AUCTION...then the whole TERRY AND ALED thing which is ongoing and is only going to get crazier.

Then there was RADIO 2 LIVE IN LONDON.... then there was the TAKE THAT concert early Monday and then the BIG FRIDAY SHOW next week, haven't told you about that one yet but it's pretty neat.... and finally, following that.... a CHRISTMAS WEEK OF SURPRISE live bands joining us in the studio at teatime.

It's this whole "addedness" to the normal show that has given it a real pep in it's step recently and it's this that makes the time fly by...

MAKE EXTRAORDINARY THINGS HAPPEN. It's all about energy. Everyone who's any good always have the same common denominator - good energy. Energy makes things happen.

The show is fab and I love it but it is only the beginning of what's possible...

Can't wait for next year.

Now we've got the hang of this DRIVETIME thing, let's see if we get it do a loop the loop.

YEH BABY.

CLP.

2008.

PS: Don't forget the first rung of the rock n' roll ladder that leads up to the top window of the weekend is down to YOU. It's the third last ARF of 2008. We challenge you to surprise us. Eg. NOT Brown Eyed Girl or I'm In The Mood For Dancing...Good though they are - requested much too often by far
