Rankin Shoots Rembrandt: The Selfie

18 October 2014

World-renowned photographer Rankin took on the challenge of interpreting Rembrandt's portraits of old age, adapting the Dutch master's techniques for his camera, in a Culture Show special, Rankin Shoots Rembrandt.

Rankin and his team took time out from shooting portraits of Terry Gilliam, Ken Loach, Zandra Rhodes and Una Stubbs to attempt to have some fun at The National Theatre Costume Hire Warehouse while recreating Rembrandt’s 1669 self-portrait. Watch the results below.
