Justin Timberlake fans have had a good start to 2018, after the superstar singer-songwriter announced his fourth album Man Of The Woods will be released on 2nd February. Which is, let's face it, really soon. We've just got to get through January. Dig deep, we can do this!

JT masterminded the Trolls soundtrack back in 2016, but this will be his first record as a solo artist since 2013's The 20/20 Experience. Read on to find out everything you need to know about Justin's massive comeback.

Here is his new single Filthy. It's a banger

There's a surprising lack of Brokeback Mountain-esque imagery in the video for Filthy, which ditches the warm blankets of JT's new promo pics for a futuristic party-robot who wouldn't last ten minutes in the wilderness.

The video was directed by Mark Romanek, who also made JT's Can't Stop The Feeling and Taylor Swift's iconic Shake It Off (among many, many others).

Justin has teased his new outdoors-y look

And what do the fans think?

Filthy has met with mixed reaction from fans online, some of whom seem disappointed that Justin hasn't released a song identical to hit previous hits.

But a lot of people are thrilled JT is bringing dirty back in the same way he did with sexy.

His new album features some amazing guests

JT has confirmed that he has teamed up once again with superstar producers and former collaborators Timbaland, The Neptunes and Max Martin on Man Of The Woods - which can only spell good things. Pharrell Williams (half of The Neptunes) is featured in the video trailer for the album, released on Justin's social media, saying: 'That is a SMASH.' A smash we can't wait to hear!

The LP is also set to feature honoured guests in the form of Alicia Keys and country star Chris Stapleton.

The album has a new "earthy" sound

Campfires, galloping horses and frosty meadows all feature heavily in the trailer for Man Of The Woods, which all suggest JT might have been listening to more than a little Bon Iver. The album is pitted to be a deeply personal record with a rootsy, earthy sound.

“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any album I’ve ever written, where I’m from — it’s personal,” Justin says in the trailer about the record, which seems set to give us music from America's south with a contemporary pop twist.

He's going to headline the 2018 Super Bowl show

The Super Bowl halftime show is always a huge deal with spectacular performances - it's where Lady Gaga dived from the stadium roof last year, and Beyoncé slayed with Bruno Mars in 2016.

So we can surely expect great things from JT's set on 4th February, two days after his album is released.

Justin last performed at the Super Bowl with the legendary Janet Jackson, all the way back in 2004.
