
Snookerstar DJ: Steve Davis' unlikely music career
The post-snooker career of former six times world champion Steve Davis, has taken an unlikely turn. After hanging up his cue, he decided to follow his other passion of "weird and wonderful leftfield music". He presents a music show on the radio, has turned his hand to DJ'ing (including playing at Glastonbury), and now has an album out with his band, the electronic trio The Utopia Strong. Davis admits it's all rather "surreal" and says if anyone had told him a few years ago that all this would be happening, he'd have "laughed at them".
