Interracial marriage advice for Meghan and Harry
70-year-old Joan Rowlandson from Liverpool, met her husband Johnny at church in 1966 and they married in 1970.
“We went to the same church, we got close together and we just clicked, and we've been like that ever since,” said Johnny.
The couple met one year after the first UK legislation to address racial discrimination was introduced.
“As an interracial couple, we really didn't think about it,” said Joan.
