My Doodle Diary helps me deal with the loss of my wife
A TV animator has sketched moving portraits of coping as a parent after the death of his wife.
Gary Andrews has drawn in his Doodle Diary each day since he lost his wife to sepsis last year.
"Drawing comes very naturally [to me]. To be able to process the thoughts and then put them down on paper was a way of venting feelings."
He also shares the drawings with his two young children.
"They understand when the poignant ones come up but they really enjoy the funny ones and laugh at them."
