
Why female world leaders ‘complain’ at washbasins
The former Prime Minister of Australia Julia Gillard has told Emma Barnett that women leaders often talk in bathrooms at world summits and complain about how their appearances are discussed.
Gillard, who was Australia's first female Prime Minister from 2010 to 2013, said that she’s shared "a wry smile with other female leaders about the ridiculous things that are written about us."
