
Teen drugs grooming could be ‘bigger than Rotherham'
The scale of young people being sent to country towns to sell drugs could be bigger that the Rotherham child sex abuse scandal.
That’s according to Islington Councillor Joe Caluori, Lead Member for Children Young People and Families.
He told 5 live Breakfast that the potential number of young people being controlled by city drug gangs is in the “thousands”.
“I think this is possibly on the scale of the CSE grooming scandal…possibly much bigger than that.”
