Holiday sickness fraud rises 500% since 2013
ABTA have told 5 live that the sharp rise in holiday sickness fraud could lead to increased holiday prices and British holidaymakers being refused package holidays.
Nina Kapur from ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents, told 5 live Breakfast:
“Particularly in Spain and Portugal where it’s a really big issue, hoteliers have just had enough because the cost is being passed on to them."
“They are now saying they might even stop selling all-inclusive holidays to British people.”
