Jonathan Groff: Mindhunter is a "psychological deep dive"
Jonathan Groff, who plays the lead in Netflix's new drama Mindhunter, has told Afternoon Edition the series 'asks a lot from the audience'.
His character Holden Ford is based on John E Douglas, an FBI agent who profiled serial killers in the 1970s, and the drama follows him interviewing many of those infamous criminals.
Groff explained that those scenes were 'fifteen pages long' in the script and played out like 'action sequences' on screen.
Mindhunter is available now on Netflix.
