Shopping for the ‘model’ boyfriend?
Match.com has embraced the phrase 'window shopping' by creating 3D models of their singletons to go on display in a ‘dating popup shop’. The pilot scheme shows off what may look like Ken dolls at 7 inches tall but in actual fact they're scaled down versions of the real deal on offer.
Matt Pratt, a project manager from London, spoke to 5 live:
“It’s so impressive”
He continued:
“It was a 3D scanner so I was in this room with quite a few cameras, and on this rotating podium which spun me around, they took all the pictures and they sort of go off to do their magic.”
