Calls for 'digital constables' to catch paedophiles
The former head of Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) has told 5 live that recruiting members of the public to help catch online paedophiles would "turn the tables".
Jim Gamble said so-called paedophile hunters could also be formally trained.
Speaking to Nicky Campbell, Mr. Gamble said "you would be coming in to pretend to be a 13-year-old. You can be trained to do that very easily.
Back in 2009, '10 and '11, we were leading the world in this, and now we'll say we have these robust powers but we don't have the resources".
