Reporting male rape: 'I wanted to jump off a bridge'
A man who reported being raped after a lads' night out has told BBC 5 live how he couldn’t bear to tell his girlfriend what had happened to him.
Sam Thompson reported being raped in a hotel room after meeting some strangers in a city centre bar.
Speaking to Adrian Chiles, the 22-year-old explained how he gradually broke down in the weeks after telling police what happened.
