Martin Lewis rants about need for financial education
Personal finance expert Martin Lewis told 5 live Daily’s Adrian Chiles that financial education “is crucially important for educating our young people on how to live in this modern, competitive economy”.
Martin argues that adding better lessons in finance to the curriculum “enables you to look after yourself” and is a “real life-skill.”
In a passionate rant, Martin called for student loans to no longer be called student loans, because “they are not loans; they are a graduate contribution proportionate to what you earn” believing the term “normalises debt.”
