Latina Muslim: I don't want to be 'dehumanised' by Trump
A Latina Muslim student from Miami says she worries minority groups and women will be “dehumanised” by Donald Trump, if he was to become president.
Gabriela Redondo, 22, says she is a “humungous minority” being Latina Muslim and female, and has family who have crossed the Mexican border into the US as immigrants.
Speaking at the Muslim Communities Association of South Florida, one of the region's largest Islamic centres, Gabriela told BBC Radio 5 live that she feared for her family’s future and for women in need of abortions.
