Terry Butcher: ‘The next England manager should be English’
Former England captain Terry Butcher has told BBC 5 live, that the FA should pick an Englishman as their next boss, following the departure of Sam Allardyce as England manager.
Allardyce's reign lasted just one game and 67 days after an investigation by the Telegraph newspaper claimed he offered advice on how to "get around" rules on player transfers.
Butcher said: “I would hate for us to go foreign again, you still need an Englishman in charge.”
