Sound of Music's Friedrich: We'll miss Charmian terribly
All the actors who played the children in The Sound of Music plan to remember Charmian Carr with a dinner of her ‘favourite’ things, says Nicholas Hammond who played Friedrich von Trapp in the 1965 film.
Ms Carr, who played the eldest von Trapp daughter Liesl in the film The Sound of Music, died aged 73 after complications from a rare form of dementia, her representative said.
“We’re going to go and have dinner at her favourite restaurant and order what was her favourite drink,” he said. “We will just spend the whole evening as families do reminiscing about our big sister and missing her terribly.”
