Team GB horse rider describes armed migrant attack
The Team GB horse rider Lucy Phillips has described the moment her family were left terrified, after their lorry and horse box were set upon by a gang of armed migrants, as they drove back from Calais.
The equestrian rider was coming home from a World Championship event, when they were attacked with bats and tree branches.
Lucy spoke to BBC 5 live's Adrian Chiles about her families "terrifying" ordeal.
"They put a tree branch through the passenger window, which showered my mum and dad in glass. Quite soon after that, the police arrived and the migrants just ran away.”
