
"The board and Wenger have let Arsenal fans down again"
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and the club’s board are “letting the fans down” with a lack of transfer activity, says Chris Sutton.
The Gunners, who finished second in the Premier League last season, have bought Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka for a reported £35m – but are yet to make another big-money signing.
“They’ve shown no intent,” said former Blackburn, Chelsea and Celtic striker Sutton.
