Tommy Walsh: I’m up for a Ground Force reunion
“Whenever we meet up it’s just like the first time we worked together” says former Ground Force builder Tommy Walsh.
Speaking to 5 live’s Phil Williams about the potential for an on-screen reunion, Walsh said: “I’m up for it, Charlie’s up for it and so’s Willy and Kirsty” but doesn’t know if Alan Titchmarsh would be interested.
He said it would be hard to “top” their special in 2000 where they created a garden for Nelson Mandela, although it would be “quite fun” to do a special garden for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Ground Force was first broadcast in 1997 and will celebrate 20 years since its first broadcast in 2017.
