
Tour de France: Mark Cavendish takes third 2016 stage win
Mark Cavendish secured a third stage win in this year's Tour de France when he won stage six on Thursday, taking his career total in the race to 29.
The Manxman edged a sprint finish at the finale of the 118.4-mile route from Arpajon-sur-Cere to Montauban.
It takes him to outright second on the list of riders with the most stage wins in the race, five behind five-time Tour winner Eddy Merckx of Belgium.
Fellow Briton Dan McClay was third, with Germany's Marcel Kittel second.
