"I saw some horrible punches" - eyewitness account of Croatia crowd trouble
European football journalist Andy Mitten witnessed the crowd trouble that marred the final few minutes of Czech Republic v Croatia at Euro 2016.
Mitten was sitting with the Croatia fans, and described events to presenter Dan Walker:
"The police knew something was going to happen, and it did happen. Lit flares and fireworks started being thrown from the Croatia end onto the pitch...I saw some horrible punches. I saw congestion round one of the exits, and you could think some people could be crushed, it was horrible", he said.
