'Losing Vardy would be catastrophic for Leicester'
Jamie Vardy potentially leaving Leicester City and joining Arsenal would be "catastrophic" for the Premier League champions, according to former Foxes defender Gerry Taggart.
Arsenal are believed to have offered in the region of £20m for Vardy to trigger the release clause in his contract.
The striker was set to make a decision on his future on Monday.
Taggart said: "I believe that if Jamie does go then it could be catastrophic for the club."
He added: "If he goes then one or two others might want to leave as well. The whole Leicester ethos over the last couple of seasons has been built around people like Jamie Vardy."
