Nevin: 'Mourinho is a shy person'

Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin says Jose Mourinho is "actually quite a shy person".

The 53-year-old Portuguese, who is set to take over as Manchester United manager after the sacking of Louis van Gaal, is often outspoken and was dismissed by Chelsea amid reports he had fallen out with players and staff.

However, Nevin believes he will be a good fit at Old Trafford.

"If he was ever going to listen to anyone, he'd listen to Sir Alex [Ferguson]. If you get them working in tandem and Jose going to him for advice and they have a good relationship, then world beware," added the former Scotland international.
