Charlie Adam: Butland will leave Stoke

Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam believes team-mate Jack Butland will eventually go on to play for one of England's "big" clubs.

Goalkeeper Butland had been hotly tipped to be part of England’s Euro 2016 squad until he fractured his ankle, and is seen by many as the biggest challenge to Joe Hart for the number one spot.

While Adam believes the 23-year-old will move on, he says Stoke won't let him go "for the cheap – they'll want as much money as they can".
