Khan: I wanted to send a message after 7/7 attacks

Boxer Amir Khan talks about the difficulty of making his professional debut following the 7/7 suicide bombings in London.

The 2004 Olympic silver medallist fought David Bailey in Bolton a week after the bombings in the capital.

Khan said: "It did upset me because I wanted to enjoy this moment but I could not because of what happened in London.

"I wanted to send the young Muslim kids a message out there. We live in England, we were brought up in England and we have to respect our roots."
