Eddie Jones compares George Ford to Dan Carter

England head coach Eddie Jones asks for 'patience' in developing the 'talented' fly-half.

Speaking exclusively to 5 live Sport, Jones said: "George is an enormously talented stand-off. At times he probably overthinks the game but he's young, he is only 23."

And despite his inconsistent form for Bath, Jones, 56, compared Ford to one of the greatest players in history. He said: "Look at Dan Carter. He was probably at his best aged 28. He had moments when he made mistakes when he was younger and Ford is still only 23 so is going to make mistakes."
