'Player of the year? I picked the six ugliest!'

Former Aston Villa midfielder Andy Townsend found himself in trouble when his six "ugly" nominations for player of the season were uncovered by the national press.

Rather than handing in his six nominations for the best player that year, Townsend chose to submit who he thought were the six worst looking men in the Premier League.

One of them was Coventry goalkeeper Steve Ogrizovic, which lead to an awkward moment in the Sky Blues penalty area.
