'Van Gaal will know the stories are correct'

The London Evening Standard's Tom Collomosse denies Louis van Gaal's claims that stories about the Manchester United manager have been made up.

After United's results over the Christmas and New Year period reports have suggested Van Gaal could be replaced by former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford in the summer.

Van Gaal has claimed in his media conferences that such stories have been made up.

But Collomosse says the Dutchman is wrongly turning on journalists.
