Piers Morgan gives Man Utd fan a reality check
606 guest presenter Piers Morgan gave Man Utd fan James a reality check about the state of his team under Louis van Gaal, saying "I think they're nowhere near as good as you think they are."
"At some point, you've got to recognise that the fabric of Manchester United has gone from being amazing, attacking, dynamic football under Sir Alex Ferguson; to some of the most tedious football that anyone's watching anywhere in the world right now," the former newspaper editor added.
During Saturday's FA Cup third round tie against Sheffield United, it took van Gaal's team until the 65th minute to register their first shot on goal, which was greeted with ironic jeers from the Old Trafford faithful.
Wayne Rooney's last-minute penalty was enough to see the hosts edge past their League One counterparts to seal a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
