The Midlands club recorded a 1-0 home win against Sunderland, but John is not impressed with the way Tony Pulis' side have been performing.

“I feel for Sam Allardyce. If he can’t, with his Sunderland team, beat the rubbish that we served up today then he really has a big job on his hands.

“But Tony Pulis is really ruining everything at this club. It’s just ludicrous. We’ve got enough talented, exciting players at this club to be easily in the top half, and we’re not,” he added.
