From World War Two to the modern day, immigration has been a large part of the Britain’s history.
Professor of History David Feldman told 5 live how the immigration trends have changed throughout time.
Net migration to the UK is at an all-time high, reaching 330,000 in the year to March, the Office for National Statistics has said.
