Peter Allen 'enjoys' constructive criticism

5 live Daily presenter Peter Allen says he “quite enjoyed reading” a listener’s text, which demanded he moved to a different job.

Allen said he only had himself to blame after asking listeners to get in touch with “informed texts”.

The texter wrote: “Peter Allen is a gormless, senile, gibbering old idiot, who can’t open his mouth without mumbling some half-baked inanity.”

“I seriously object to him receiving my license fee and demand he is removed to a position more in keeping with his limited abilities.”
