Dermot O'Leary: The wind tore away my match report
Dermot tells Danny and Teletext Alex about his early days on local radio as a sports reporter.
When he did his first match report Dermot failed to reach the game in time for kick off, and had to make up some of his piece from the hard shoulder of the A12.
Then on another occasion, after being advised to script his work, a gust of wind tore his sheet of paper out of his hand.
Dermot then had to return to the office knowing that he had done a bad job and that people would think that he had ignored the advice.
