Stuart Pearce: 'Punks don't pester me'
The former England and Nottingham Forest captain, who has been to over 300 hundred concerts by The Stranglers, talks about being a punk rock fan.
He reveals choosing music for the Forest dressing room, taking team mates to gigs and his love of going to many live shows over the years.
Stuart says he is respected within the punk fraternity and gets “pestered” less by people at these concerts, than those gigs where there is a crossover between music and football.
The former international confesses the older he gets, the more likely he is to be found further at the back and behind the mixing desk, as opposed to “sweating like a pig” at the front.
