Rushanara Ali standing for Labour deputy leadership
Rushanara Ali MP has thrown her hat into the ring for the deputy Labour leadership.
She told BBC radio 5live: "I want to stand for the deputy leadership contest in my party because I think it's time for my generation to roll up their sleeves and get to work."
"I'm going to start with going after UKIP voters who left Labour because we have to go and talk to people who rejected us," she added.
