Bewdley's Molly Ann showcases a unique blend of vocals, piano, 'electronics' and strings together with a love for strong melodies.

She's influenced by fellow BBC Introducing discoveries such as Florence + The Machine, Gabriella Aplin, Rae Morris and Herefordshire's Ellie Goulding.

We loved her music so much, we passed it on to Mark Forrest who played it on the Best of BBC Introducing across all 40 Local Radio stations in Britain.

How do you go from gigging around Worcestershire to being the support act for an '80s music legend?

Redditch band Shooze have done just that; they have been chosen to tour with Adam Ant a few times now - much to the envy of their parents, who are big fans.

We hear from them on this week's show!

The R&B and soul singer Ben E King - best known for Stand By Me - has died, aged 76.

He was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame for his time with The Drifters.

Clyde Spencer, who lives in Droitwich is one of the original Drifters.

He's been paying tribute to the singer.

Now in its fourth year, Troyfest takes places over three days and nights in and around a stunning country mansion near Hereford and the English/Welsh border.

They've booked more than 80 bands and DJs to play on 5 stages at Baskerville Hall.

There'll be an outdoor AV show, an indoor swimming pool, showers and indoor toilets!

The committee have arranged a local alternative camp site which we can use if their usual one is flooded.

This is at Brickwalls Barn Camp Site, Gilberts End, a pleasant rural site about three miles outside Upton and well away from any potential floods.

If they have to use this site, they'll be putting on a free shuttle service to the festival.

Throughout May, all of our live sessions were performed in the studio - the Studio Theatre at The Courtyard in Hereford, that is!

As well as regular music nights in both there and the Main House, the centre is home to the Music Pool charity and hosts regular Jazz Cafe events in the bar area along with various open mic nights.

The glass-fronted building, on Edgar Street, officially opened in 1998 on the site of its predecessor and before that it used to be a swimming pool!

We started off the year with a brand new series of 'How To Make It In The Music Industry' with Hereford's Sean Denny, who runs his own record label at Sony Records in London.

This week, we continue to talk you through the whole signing process with a case study that is right on our doorstep.

Garrick Roberts is the guitarist and founding member of the Boomtown Rats and lives in Bromyard.

It's taken us three years to persuade him to give away his secrets of how his band attracted the attention of managers, record labels and studio producers - and how they insisted the band retained full creative control of their music.

BBC Introducing at the Wychwood Festival

Once again, at the end of May, we'll be returning to the Wychwood Festival on Cheltenham Racecourse to host a regional BBC Introducing stage along with our colleagues from BBC Local Radio.

We've been given the whole of the Sunday to showcase ten acts from Herefordshire & Worcestershire - which include the four sessions that will transmit throughout June.
