Jake Of Diamonds consists of Jake Gamble, previously a solo artist, on lead vocals and guitar; Christopher Finch on bass/backing vocals and Jordan Read on drums.

The trio have already developed a vast portfolio of original material, despite only being together since October 2013.

The band are extremely versatile, playing live and acoustic sets across the country and building up a large fan base in the process.

Jake has already experienced success as a a solo artist; his song 'Falling, Falling' having been played by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 after being forwarded from BBC Hereford & Worcester.

A few weeks ago, BBC Introducing's Andrew Marston met with Paul Cobbold, a former engineer at Rockfield Studios who now records at home.

Paul said: "You must really check out Jake Of Diamonds" - so we did.

All of our live studio sessions and festival gigs since 2005...

Forget the NEC, the Cardiff or Manchester Arenas - this weekend, you could find yourself drooling over the latest music toys at a big exhibition - in Stourport.

Worleys Guitar Show has rocked up to the town's Civic Centre with a host of big named brands and local manufacturers - and stars such as Gordon Giltrap will be on hand to show people how to master the guitar!

The BBC Hereford & Worcester stage at SnodFest nr Pershore

SnodFest has got to be our favourite festival story.

A few years back, a group of people got together in Upton Snodsbury with the idea of building a park.

But instead of holding a car boot, bingo evening or jumble sale, decided to hold their own music festival.

This has now turned into an annual event, with the exception of last year, to fund the upkeep of the area.

BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.

Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 26 October at KJM Studios in Plough Lane, Hereford, and features five acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.

This is your chance to see how we capture live music on tape, while being able to enjoy some of the hottest new acts we've got in our area right now.

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.

The 27th annual Bewdley Festival has began with local talent and stars of the stage in town over the next ten days - including Kiki Dee and Midge Ure.

It's estimated the volunteers and organisers will be entertaining around four thousand visitors.

The BBC Hereford & Worcester Musicians' Masterclass

As part of this year's Worcester Music Festival, we brought our ever-popular Musicians' Masterclass to The Hive in Worcester - putting together a panel of industry experts to answer those all important questions, such as:

How do I get signed?
Is there an easy way to land gigs in other areas?
How do I build a fanbase?
How do you write a number one song?
What's the best way to sell your music?

This week, we go for a quick fire question and answers session - addressing everything from getting your music streamed, playing your local pub to playing a festival stage.

Picking up the baton on our panel is Ella Nozworthy from the Nozstock Festival, Nigel Clark of Dodgy, Brian Marr from the Marr's Bar and Scott Garrett from MAS Records.
