A spectacular strike from Everton defender Phil Jagielka secured a last-gasp derby draw against Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield.

Steven Gerrard's 65th-minute free-kick looked to have earned the points for a dominant Liverpool before Jagielka fired in from 30 yards in injury-time.

Aiden McGeady's cross was headed clear but fell nicely to the defender, who unleashed an unstoppable shot.

Mario Balotelli had hit the bar for the Reds moments after Gerrard's goal.
