12 stars who are literally the best with their fans

Tom Cruise reveals his secret talent

The Hollywood star chats on the red carpet at the premiere of his new movie

Without fans we'd live in a world of empty stadiums and deserted red carpets. They make the world of celebrity go round (and round and round and round again).

Some stars are known for being a little standoffish with their fans but others treat them like royalty - even sending them Christmas presents or showing up to surprise them when they least expect it.

These are the stars who go the extra mile to keep their fans happy.

Tom Cruise

Radio 1 Newsbeat chatted to Tom Cruise at the UK premiere of his new movie, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back about tap-dancing and getting spotted in London's parks when he's out for a stroll.

But not before he stopped and chatted with all the fans who had been waiting in the October cold to meet one of the biggest movies stars of all time. Now that's how you treat your fans.

Taylor Swift

Oh Tay Tay. She reached peak perfect in 2014 when she sent Christmas presents to some of her biggest fans. Hand-picked, hand-wrapped gifts to make everyone feel a part of that very special squad.

FYI Taylor. We've been good all year, so you know where we are.

Beyonce

If there's one thing better than being in the front row at a Beyonce gig, it's having Queen Bey photobomb your selfie.

This sort of thing is not possible if you're seated in Tier G, FYI.

Adele

Adele pranked fans who love her so much, they've made a career pretending to BE her.

We want to see more of Jenny, the character she played, during her stunt for Graham Norton. #JusticeforJenny' etc

Chris Hemsworth

It's not just Chris Hemsworth's arms that are perfect, his heart is pretty much flawless too, having visited sick children in Australia with co-star Tom Hiddleston (with wigs, of course) while filming Thor: Ragnarok.

Miley Cyrus

We could spend days looking at bad photos from celebrity meet and greets. Miley Cyrus wouldn't be one of them.

She has zero issues with personal space and that's why the fans love her.

Selena Gomez

The paparazzi don't have the best reputation but we're sure some of them are nice people.

Selena Gomez once whisked three lucky fans away from photographers in LA for the ride of their lives. Oh to have been an arm-rest or window knob in that SUV.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles visited cancer sufferer and major One Direction fan Campbell Hoyt in August 2014. Campbell died later that month.

Olly Murs

Rent-A-Greg: Olly Murs' Surprise Duet with 8-Year-Old Fan!

Greg invited Millie to the BBC and found herself singing a surprise duet with Olly Murs!

Olly Murs gave 8-year-old Millie (his No.1 fan, FYI) the surprise of her life when she visited Greg James. Not that she seem phased at all when he dropped in on her at the Radio 1 studios.

So much awwwww in one room.

Little Mix

(Warning: Third party video may contain adverts)

We reckon these Little Mix fans had a clue something special was going to happen when they were invited to Sony in London to hear Black Magic for the first time in 2015.

We're not sure how the #Mixers kept their cool with LM in the room.

Rihanna

File next to Miley. No personal space issues here.

Daniel Radcliffe

We're not sure what's more cute - Daniel Radcliffe's slightly-awkward Britishness or the reactions from his US fans.
