We would strongly advise that if you or your children are travelling to the event you plan your journeys in advance and check for the latest travel information before you depart.

If you plan to meet your child on foot after the event, there will be two clearly signed meeting points outside the venue – ‘Meeting Point A’ and ‘Meeting Point B’. Please arrange with your child to meet at one of these in advance. Please see the Teen Awards Map to see where the meeting points are.

If you drive to The SSE Arena, Wembley to drop off / collect your children at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards, please be aware that the area around the venue and after the show will be very busy with traffic and crowds. We strongly advise that you do not attempt to collect your children from directly outside the venue on Engineers Way by car because the road will be closed. Use the designated drop off and pick up zone – as noted above, a map of the venue is now available online.
