An austere room, bars on the windows, a white coated orderly seated in the corner. A single table. At it sits John Luther and Alice Morgan. Facing one another.

ALICE

Have you left the service yet?

LUTHER

Soon. I just need to clear up a couple of things. Take care of Ripley, make sure he's back on track. And there's this girl.

ALICE

What girl?

FLASH FORWARD: Close up of Luther, hugging Jenny close to him.

LUTHER

Just a girl. I said I'd help. But after that I'm done.

ALICE

Good. Because the people around you are vampires...

ALICE (voice over)
