What Taylor Swift fans have to say about her new album, Reputation

So which song on Reputation is your favourite? It's a tough question for Taylor Swift fans who woke up on 10 November to her sixth album, a 15-track collection of no-nonsense, sass-talking pop anthems. And we've been playing them on Radio 1 since the early hours.
Adele Roberts hosted a Taylor Swift listening party at 5am (the time when the best parties come to an end, usually) and it was a good one. Here's what happened.

New Music Friday: Taylor Swift Listening Party
THE place to hear tracks from Reputation, hand picked by Taylor for Radio 1.
As well as the four songs we'd already heard from the album (Look What You Made Me Do, ...Ready For It?, Gorgeous and Call It What You Want), Adele played six brand new songs from the album. Here's what she played and what some of Taylor's biggest fans have been saying about those new tunes.
End Game

End Game features Ed Sheeran and rapper Future, so understandably is being compared with Taylor's hit single, Bad Blood (which featured Kendrick Lamar).
That Ed Sheeran part is too much for my heart to handle
Various publications have speculated that this song is about either current boyfriend Joe Alwyn, ex Tom Hiddleston or maybe even both. But details like that aren't of much concern to the real fans, who just love the song for what it is and who's involved.
"End Game is my bop," tweeted Cath, claiming this is her favourite of the new 15.
And for others, it was Ed who stole the show - and maybe moved a few listeners.
"That Ed Sheeran part is too much for my heart to handle," tweeted Sindhu.
We hope the video for this is as epic as Bad Blood, which packed countless A-list mates into a 4 minute YouTube epic.
Delicate

Taylor Swift has turned heartbreak into hits during her career, but on Reputation she has the opportunity to sing about a current romance, not just her exes.
Life will never be the same again
Delicate is a subtle love song which seems to be about a long distance romance and her fans are loving hearing a happy Taylor sing about success in her personal life.
"It's a 10/10 bop," said Meygan.
"Life will never be the same again!" Jared tweeted.
And some fans are loving moments like Delicate on the new album, saying they sound more like the old Taylor ("She's dead") than punchy hits like Look What You Made Me Do.
"It’s a huge old Taylor Swift throwback," tweeted Chesney. "I can also imagine myself listening to this song for a long time."
The old Taylor's not dead; she's just resting her eyes.
Getaway Car

Fans are going crazy for Getaway Car, with a lot of people comparing it to Style, one of the biggest tracks from Taylor's life-changing 1989 album, and saying it's the best song on Reputation.
I want that masterpiece to be hidden from commoners
However, that doesn't mean everyone is happy about the song getting all the attention and radio play.
"I hope Taylor Swift doesn’t release Getaway Car as a single," tweeted Haohua, before explaining her reasoning for such a strange demand.
"I want that masterpiece to be hidden from commoners."
Other people were so deep in 'the zone' with Getaway Car they walked into real-life traffic.
"I was just so distracted bopping to Getaway Car whilst crossing the road and this guy had to break so hard to not run me over," tweeted Georgia.
"This album really is gonna get me killed."
And of course, there's more speculation about the subject matter in the song, but fans don't mind who it's about when the music is so good.
"Getaway Car is the 80s' movie theme song of my dreams and I forgive Tom Hiddleston for everything if it gave us this song," tweeted Kate.
King Of My Heart

Like Delicate, here we've got Taylor singing about how very happy she is to be in love right now. As much as fans love songs like Blank Space, they're thrilled things are sweet for Tay with her new man.
She deserves to be treated like the American queen she is
"I'm so happy for Taylor she's found the king of her heart," wrote a Taylor Swift mega fan on Twitter.
"She deserves to be treated like the American queen she is."
And again, despite the claims that the old Taylor is dead, fans can still hear the girl who sung about Romeo & Juliet in 2008.
"I love how at the end of the day, Taylor is still the Taylor in the Fearless era who believes in fairy tales and whatnot," tweeted Tasha.
This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things

Taylor Swift in 2017 didn't come to play, she came to slay and here's a killer track aimed, some say, at Kanye West.
And there's one moment in particular on the song that is driving fans wild.
She sings about having given the person in question on Nice Things a second chance, but we can assume here that there won't be a third.
It deserves every Grammy. It's my new ringtone. It's my pinned tweet. It's my bio. It's everything
"Taylor Swift's cackle in 'This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things' is the mood of all moods," tweeted Alex.
"It deserves every Grammy. It's my new ringtone. It's my pinned tweet. It's my bio. It's everything."
And fans are claiming the song as an anthem for people who have wronged them, not just world rappers.
"This is why we can’t have nice things is my new favourite song," said Bri.
"The temptation to send it to all those 'friends' I gave way too many chances to is extremely hard, but instead I’ll just cheers to my real friends."
New Year’s Day

Throughout Reputation we get a bit of drama, a bit of romance and a whole lot of sass. But Taylor ends the album on a soft note, one that really shows how close she is to the man in her life right now.
New Year’s Day was the song that made everyone cry
And it's the track that has had the most powerful effect on her fans, with many claiming to have shed actual tears of Swift-shaped emotion after listening to it.
"Listened to the whole album and literally cried on New Year's Day. What a masterpiece," said Vhida.
It was the same for Lorelai - and many others.
"I can say with 100% confidence that New Year’s Day was the song that made everyone cry," she tweeted.
"I honestly can't imagine a more perfect way to end this amazing collection of songs," said Heleen.
