Barlesque is used to lay out pages on bbc.co.uk. It includes not only the global navigation elements, like the header and the footer, but it also delivers many pan-BBC systems, such as link-tracking, surveys and advertising.

It can be accessed from any server, including external and development servers, irrespective of the technology stack available and contains many configuration options, including language, colours and links.
